BIKE ANALOGY
A coach is not a consultant, therapist, counsellor, or mentor. To explain the differences, let’s use the simple analogy of riding a bike.
It's a seemingly simple thing.
Therapists would help you learn what is holding you back from riding a bike and delve into your past to discover what kind of experience you had with a bicycle when you were young, for example.
Consultants, meanwhile, would bring you the bicycle manual and tell you everything about its workings, then depart and return six months later to see how you were doing.
Conversely, mentors would share their experiences of bike riding and the lessons they had learned and bestow on you their wisdom, such as what wheels to use in what terrain and what the best things to pack are.
Coaches, however, would help you get on the bicycle and then encourage, endorse, acknowledge and support you while running alongside until you felt comfortable enough to go it alone. Coaching helps identify your skills, resources and capabilities and enables you to use them to the best of your ability and increase your independence.
Coaching aims to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. It involves conscious, resonant, empowered choices and fully embracing your whole life experience. Stepping into your authentic power and actively chasing the life you want to live!

In team coaching, the scope extends beyond conventional team structures to include families and couples, recognizing the importance of addressing collective visions and available resources. The primary objective remains consistent: to facilitate understanding of the shared vision for the future.
Team coaching sessions serve as a catalyst for enhancing team dynamics. They focus on fostering effective communication, resolving conflicts, and nurturing an environment that values diversity and collaboration. Moreover, they are instrumental in bolstering team performance and engagement.
Central to the ethos of team coaching is the principle of inclusivity. Utilizing the framework of deep democracy, every team member is afforded a voice of significance. This approach ensures that each perspective is duly considered and respected, enabling the team to navigate its journey of self-discovery and evolution.
By embracing the notion that teams are in a perpetual state of emergence, team coaching provides a platform for confronting challenges and addressing areas of discomfort. Through collaborative efforts, teams can overcome obstacles and channel their collective energies towards ensuring their organisations' or entities' prosperity and vitality.

Experiential workshops offer dynamic and engaging environments designed to impart new skills and concepts through hands-on experiences and active involvement rather than traditional passive learning methods.
By immersing participants in interactive activities, these workshops foster a deeper understanding and facilitate the practical application of the knowledge acquired. Unlike conventional learning settings, where information is often gleaned from textbooks or lectures, experiential workshops emphasize real-time learning experiences within the workshop space.
It's crucial to grasp that the learning process unfolds in real time during these sessions. Absentees cannot simply catch up by reading from a textbook or manual. This underscores the significance of active participation. In an experiential workshop, every individual not only learns but also assumes the role of a teacher. Each participant bears responsibility not only for their learning but also for contributing to the collective learning journey of their peers. This shared accountability ensures a collaborative and enriching learning environment where insights are exchanged, and knowledge is co-created among all participants.
